“Rarely, if ever, are we healed in isolation”
MAYBE SOME OF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR…
you’re exhausted from always being the strong one
sometimes your mind won’t slow down, even when you’re at home trying to relax
you’re on high alert, even when nothing is “wrong”
the patterns in your relationships leave you feeling drained, confused, & left with unmet needs
you tell your self, “other people have it worse, I should be able to handle this”
you feel guilty when you’re not being “productive”
TRAUMA THERAPY TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
Whether you've experienced a single critical incident, years of cumulative trauma, or the emotional weight of caring for others, your reactions and what you’re feeling make so much sense. We’ll work in tandem to understand how these experiences have shaped your nervous system, relationships, and daily life. Moving at your own pace is so important, helping you process without becoming overwhelmed.
MEET EMILY SOEN, LSWAIC
TRAUMA THERAPIST IN BELLINGHAM, WA
virtual therapy throughout Washington state
Hi there, I’m Emily. I’m glad you’re here. I help adults who are navigating PTSD, trauma, and chronic stress. In other words, folks who often feel stuck in survival mode. I know that finding someone to share your experiences with whom you trust is one of the most important parts of the process.
I believe that therapy (and the human experience) is about building relationships in which you feel heard, held, and deeply seen. My approach is rooted in connection, curiosity, and compassion. I offer genuine care and a space to land, wherever you are on your healing journey.
I believe in a world where we don’t have to struggle alone. In relationship with others is where true healing and transformation occurs. I’m committed to building that type of relationship with the people I work with.
